General admission tickets can also be purchased online in groups of 25 or less. From May 16 to May 25, full-price tickets can be purchased at the ticket booth with cash or credit on the day of your trip.Please check back in August to purchase tickets for a field trip for the 2023-24 school year. Discounted field trip ticket sales for the 2022-23 school year have closed.Summer student groups are not eligible for discounted field trip pricing.

School and large-organized groups receive a discounted entrance fee upon making a reservation to visit. Discover the uniqueness of these habitats and how we can help protect and preserve them. Guided visits can be tailored to accommodate specific animal subjects or curriculums your school may be studying at the time or can include an all-around zoo visit to learn a little something about all our Monterey Zoo “wild things”…ĭiscover the Rainforest by reserving time in our new reptile/sloth exhibit where you’ll learn about the unusual creatures from rainforests around the globe. 
They can also include private guided tour of the zoo with one of our keepers. These are fun, safe, and educational lectures and demonstrations that can be tailored to different age groups. Presentations done at the zoo include a far greater number of animals. The Monterey Zoo offers a variety of educational presentations that can be enjoyed at our facility, and some that can be brought to your school or event.
